Yog Nidra Level 1

Yog Nidra Level 1

This practice systematically shifts brainwave activity from beta (alert state) to alpha and eventually theta and delta waves.

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditative practice that induces deep physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Yoga Nidra guides the practitioner into a hypnagogic state—a unique consciousness between wakefulness and sleep. Doing this correct fully under regular guidance at the correct time in your journey brings unmatched results.

During Yoga Nidra, the body enters a deeply relaxed state, while the mind remains alert and aware. This practice systematically shifts brainwave activity from beta (alert state) to alpha and eventually theta and delta waves, associated with deep sleep and subconscious access.

Scientific studies suggest that Yoga Nidra can reduce stress, anxiety, and insomnia. It has shown benefits in lowering cortisol levels, regulating autonomic nervous system function, and improving heart rate variability—key indicators of stress resilience. Neuroimaging studies indicate increased activity in brain regions related to self-awareness and emotional regulation during the practice.

Unlike traditional meditation, Yoga Nidra does not require concentration. It is accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds, including those with trauma, PTSD, or chronic illness. It supports neuroplasticity by allowing the mind to rewire limiting thought patterns in a deeply receptive state.

In clinical and wellness settings, Yoga Nidra is increasingly used as a therapeutic tool for emotional healing, mental clarity, and spiritual growth—bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience.
